So being in Tokyo, you can find a lot of things from back in America when you are missing a little of home. Ine thing i miss a lot are peanut butter items. Japan isnt big on Peanut Butter, they like PEANUT CREAM... this product is neither delicious or appealing to look at. Over the last year i have noticed super markets starting to carry peanut butter, but a tiny jar can cost you 400-600 yen! As for peanut butter candy, Reeses peanut butter cups or, reeces peices and butter finger are not available easily.
Usually you need a military friend who has access to a US base to go shop at the US market. But its a hassle. Much to my surprise i found in Nishi-Ogikubo a small import shop that carried japanese packaged Butter Fingers! The package has 15 minis for 250 yen. Of course i snagged a bag.
